It has been a busy month for the housing market!

  1. Rates are 1% lower then they were in the spring.  (Mortgage News Daily)
  2. The number of homes for sale continues to increase and is 37% higher than last year. (Altos Research)
  3. Competition is heating up as purchase applications have increased for 5 weeks in a row. (Mortgage Bankers Association) 

Better rates, more homes for sale, but, increased competition could push prices up this winter.
